Conservative leader David Cameron has told The Daily Mail he will ‘not let matters rest’ if the EU Treaty becomes law. We can argue this means he will never accept it, but then again it really means nothing at all.
Typical Newspeak, then. But I hope Cameron really does fight this vile treaty. He certainly should as it is against everything the Tories – used to – stand for. Whether they still do, it’s hard to tell.
But why is it so important to get rid of this treaty? Well, it’s all to do with who runs things in the UK. The original constitution was rejected outright in Europe, so EU bureaucrats decided to spit on democracy with this farce.
For this reason, above all else, it must be rejected, or it is we who become the farce.
