WITH A PINCH OF SALT

There’s a marvelous story doing the rounds of a Goth who leads his girlfriend around on a leash being banned from a bus after being told no dogs allowed. Is this victimization, as is claimed?
Certainly. But we’ve got to admire the humour. Indeed, here’s another funny story: a council is demanding that fish and chip shops have less holes in their salt shakers, thus reducing the amount of salt people use.
Personally, I think this will either make people shake it more, or get angry with the staff. But most of all, this is one story I can’t take with a pinch of salt. Why? Because it is nothing to do with any official, anywhere.
Will these petty idiots keep out of people’s lives! It is beginning to seriously worry me that they have no understanding of freedom.
