DAY OF ICONS

Yesterday was very much a day of icons in the news. In one court, Sir Macca and Heather Mills fail to agree on a divorce settlement, so the court will decide for them. In the other, Mohamed Al Fayed picks over the bones of Diana.
Conspiracy theory gone mad, the Royals dunit, Prince Philip is related to a Frankenstein, and all of them are a bunch of Nazis who should get back to Germany. Camilla is apparently of amphibian stock.
The days of feeling sorry for Al Fayed’s loss are now gone. As he rants, raves and sheds a tear in court, I can see a clear connection between Diana and Sir Paul’s opponents. One has lost one, and I think the other is pulling it.
