WIND FARMS AND SECURITY

Hopes to use wind to provide a third of the UK’s energy needs have been put in jeopardy by the Ministry of Defence. Their positioning around our coastline is causing serious interference to radar.
This is a problem that must be addressed. The primary concern of any administration is the defence of its people. And indeed, perhaps it is timely that such problems are highlighted before we go too far down a wrong road.
The beauty of the wind turbine is that it is so ugly and so impractical that it was bound to cause problems, thus turning people off the eco-trail. Why do I suspect this was the intention all along?
There are practical answers to renewable energy if we have the will. But I haven’t, yet, seen anything but ‘cosmetics’ from either Big Biz or government.
