Poor old Gordon Brownski. He wanted to be UK Prime Minister for so long, and once he is, the economy begins to change. But not as often as his own mind. This has been starkly highlighted in recent days.
Gordon decides to stop the 10p tax rate for the low paid. Massive rebellion by his backbenchers. Gordon won’t reinstate it, but is providing other means of giving the low paid all the money back.
What does this tell us? First of all, he’s an incompetent decision maker. Second, as soon as the pressure is on, he’s a coward. Third, he claims things are what they’re not, and not what they are. But he doesn’t do it very well.
A man with little ‘presence’ or leadership qualities, I think he should have stayed where he was. The ultimate Backroom Boy.

Sounds like a lot of our politicians here. Lots of talk, but nothing gets done. Very well said. Have a great day. :)

Hi Sandee,
Indeed. But Brown is, I think, in a league of his own.
