Our ‘esteemed leader’, Brownski, has been to the US and thinks the UK must stick with America to fight the danger of ‘global terrorism’. This may or may not be true. What is true is this - it got minimum coverage.

Similarly, his state visit to America got minimum coverage.

Most reports with his name in it in the UK were about the revolt he’s facing over plans for scrapping the 10p tax rate. He isn’t popular with his own party at the moment.
Infact, he isn’t popular with anybody, what with the credit crunch, etc. Of course, this isn’t exactly his fault. He’s just unlucky, arriving in office as the downturn gets going. And yes, he will be the lamb for slaughter.

Whether this will be the end of him, I don’t know.

But one thing I do know is that those who yearn for office, but are denied it so long, usually end up the worst in office. And so it is proving with Brownski.
Why is this? Oh, quite simple. If he was lucky, he’d have been in office much earlier. But he isn’t. So he wasn’t. And hopefully he won’t be for long. Unless he’s lucky. Which I doubt.
