I actually managed to watch an episode of the new animated comedy sketch series, Headcases (ITV1 – UK) on Sunday. The greatest of all current affairs sketch series was of course Spitting Image.
Perhaps this set a bench mark, but few, since, have lived up to it. Headcases does. From Angelina Jolie adopting kids to slave away in her underground vault making hair extensions to beat Jennifer, to Gordon Brown as Scrooge, it’s excellent.
See Mohamad al Fayed and his conspiracy theories – the latest, what was that white Fiat Uno doing when the Dinosaurs disappeared? And Dames Helen Mirren and Judi Dench with Essex girl accents was magic.
